Grace Jones - Island Life
The topic which made me choose this album cover was the re-creation of the image below on the right called 'champagne incident'. The image was recreated by the original photographer Jean-Paul Goude. His risqué image caused some disturbance throughout the media when Paper magazine released the issue with Kim Kardashian on the front cover. Previous to this, the original image was produced in 1976.
Whilst people have been more open to nudity in the media in recent years. It is a brilliant that an artists can produce a shocking reaction from their work when it has been made more modest and conserved to previous pieces.
